Role & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an Investment Manager to strengthen our team. This role offers the opportunity to play part in driving strategic growth and executing investments. As an integral member of our team, you’ll lead M&A processes, develop company strategies, and collaborate on shaping the future of our portfolio companies. You will be based in Amsterdam where you’ll work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment where your expertise and vision will make a real difference.
The role of Investment Manager will be involved in:
- Deal Management: Lead multiple transactions simultaneously, coordinating M&A processes, including modeling, due diligence, and financing.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop strategies and set objectives for Photon Capital in collaboration with the team.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research, evaluate investment opportunities, and prepare valuation and strategy reports.
- Negotiation & Execution: Negotiate investment deals and ensure smooth execution of transactions.
- Post-Deal Integration: Oversee integration and general monitoring processes following deal closure, with limited long-term involvement.
- Portfolio Monitoring: Analyze and report on portfolio performance, creating presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders across Europe, based primarily in the Amsterdam headquarters.
Profile Requirements:
- Team Player: Strong communication skills with the ability to balance dedication and hard work with a positive attitude.
- Relevant Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy development and M&A processes.
- Educational Background: Completed master’s degree or post-graduate qualifications (RC, CMA, CFA preferred).
- Independent & Organized: Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, a hands-on approach, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
