Investment Manager
We are looking for an Investment Manager that can work on multiple deals simultaneously, is entrepreneurial, eager to learn, and not hesitant to actively engage in various operational tasks. We believe an Investment Manager should have innovative ideas, a strategic focus, and a decisive role in future developments of the fund.
By searching for and selecting new investments and building new platforms, the Investment Manager adds value to our funds in collaboration with the investment team. At Photon Capital, the Investment Manager is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, evaluating and negotiating investment opportunities. The Investment Manager also conducts thorough (market) research, prepares strategy and valuation reports, and assesses business cases. Associated tasks include modelling, managing the due diligence process and the financing process.
Our organizational culture requires everyone to contribute to the operational tasks involved in closing a deal. After closing the deal, the Investment Manager is heavily involved in the integration process and general monitoring for a limited period of time, after which the business will be handed over to the portfolio company. Through analysis, the Investment Manager monitors the performance of the portfolio and prepares reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. The Investment Manager maintains close client-relationships and is responsible for communication with various stakeholders. This takes place at the headquarters in Amsterdam, but sometimes also elsewhere in Europe.
Candidate Profile:

A minimum of 7 years of work experience.

Familiar with strategy development and processes in a corporate finance, consulting, or PE setting

Completed master/post-doc degree (RC, CMA, CFA)
