Patrick van de Laar

Patrick brings over 25 years of experience in fund and asset management. Before joining Photon Capital in 2025 he was CFRO of NPEX, a securities exchange facilitating debt and equity funding for small and midcap firms. He started his career at Euronext and worked for 8 years at the asset management arm of Kempen & Co. Thereafter he co founded the two fund managers Pelargos Capital and Saemor Capital for which he acted as CFRO.
Patrick holds a masters degree in Economics from Tilburg University and an MBA from London Business School. Patrick lives with his family in Rotterdam and enjoys playing the guitar.
