Photon Capital has acquired CrowdXS and Cloud Networks, two fast-growing specialist providers of B2B managed network and managed security solutions. Together, the companies provide an integrated offering from offices in Amsterdam and Groningen, delivering solutions for companies where service continuity and security are essential. Together with the founders, Photon Capital aims to establish a leading managed network and security provider.
The transaction closed on March 13, 2026, and represents Photon Capital’s platform investment in the managed network and security market.
CrowdXS is a specialized provider of business fiber and managed connectivity solutions. Cloud Networks offers managed network security and network infrastructure services (e.g. managed WiFi and cloud & hosting), complementing CrowdXS’s service offering. Together, the companies offer integrated solutions for customers with business-critical IT infrastructure, including the design, implementation and 24/7 management of scalable IT environments.
Founded in 2018, the companies have built a strong market position by combining high-quality connectivity with managed network and security services. The founders, who have worked together for many years, are serial entrepreneurs with over four decades of combined industry experience. Their reinvestment alongside Photon Capital underlines their confidence in the company’s future growth strategy.
The partnership represents a natural strategic fit.
